ASUS Debuts Eee PC Seashell

HP launches HP Mini Vivienne Tam Special Edition Notebook

HP Philippines has expanded the HP Mini family with the introduction of its HP Mini 1000 Vivienne Tam Editon. The HP Mini 1000 Vivienne Tam Edition comes in vibrant red with a peony-flower inspired design and 10.2-inch display.

The top of the notebook is gleaming red and bursting with peony flowers. The peony design is meticulously carried inside the notebook, under the keypad. The notebook also features a complementary embroidered storage sleeve that helps keep the exterior protected while being carried as a clutch.

LG releases KS360 QWERTY phone

LG Electronics Philippines announces the launch of the KS360 in the Philippines, its vibrantly coloured, feature-packed handset specifically designed for messaging on the move.

The KS360’s sliding QWERTY keypad and high-spec messaging features mean that users can send SMS, IM, email and have the ability to access social networking sites all from one device. In addition, the KS360 comes with touchscreen dialling, a 2MP camera and MicroSD card slot.

Kaspersky Lab beef up its presence in the Philippines

Kaspersky Lab recently announced that it is staying in the Philippine market and will even beef up its presence in the country by expanding its business network and providing a higher level of support services to its Filipino customers.

“We at Kaspersky Lab see the Philippines as a strongly emerging market. This is the start of our full and long-term plan to substantially develop our activities in the country to support the local users of our products, “ said Suk Ling Gun, Managing Director for Kaspersky Lab South East Asia.

Samsung unveils LED Full HD TVs

Samsung has announced its new televisions the B7000 and B6000 series flat-panel LED high definition screens. These cutting-edge TVs use LEDs as their primary light source, rather than traditional Cold Cathode Fluorescent Lamps (CCFL).

By using LEDs, the entire line is highlighted by superior contrast ratios and color detail, ultra-thin and wall-friendly depths and substantial decreases in energy consumption.

New Country Manager for ASUS Philippines

ASUS Philippines has a new country manager in the person of Mr. Cedric Chang. Chang will replaced Leon Yu as country manager for Asus’s Philippine operations. Yu will move back to Asus headquarters in Taiwan to head its Eee PC group.

Prior to working for Asus, Chang was the country manager for Benq Philippines.
